The funeral was very largely attended by the friends of the deceased gentleman, whose death was sincerely lamented. The chief mourners were - Mr. M L Hearn, solicitor, and Mr. Wm E Hearn, sons; Messrs Daniel J Murphy and Walter Murphy, step-sons; and Messrs Michl K Roche and Oscar Elphick, sons-in-law."
