Birth of son Charles Towry Hamilton LAW

Died in Suez.1

From the Manchester Guardian :-
"For those who may be interested in it, it may not come amiss to quote what "R. F. M." writes :- "In the obituary notice of the late Lord Ellenborough it was omitted to state that he married for his second wife, in 1855, Anna Elizabeth, daughter of the late John Fitzgerald Day, son of Judge Day, of Beaufort House, Killarney, and mother of the present lord, born in 1856. Mrs. Law died in 1860 on her voyage home from India in bad health, and was buried on a desolate sandy island near Suez on the Red Sea, a painful death, without friend or companion, only her nurse with her. What volumes the few last words contain, and how grievous for those who loved but survived her."
