Licence obtained for marriage to John HARPUR in Lichfield.3 "At Lichfield twenty ninth day of November in the year of our Lord 1749 before the Rev Thos White M.A. Surrogate Which day Appeared Personally John Harpur of the parish of All Saints in Derby Batchelor aged 27 years & prayed a Licence to be granted him for the solemnization of marriage with Constantine Cooper of the same parish Spinster aged 20 in the parish Church of Littleover or All Saints in Derby aforesaid. The said John Harpur being sworn the Licence was issued."
