"the Revd Francis Parker of the Parish of Sheffield in the County and Diocese of York and Benjamin Ward in the County of Derby and Diocese of Litchfield and Coventry"
"Francis Parker, Clerk, aged twenty three Years and upwards and Catherine Hare, spinster, aged under the age of 21 years but married with the consent of her Father"
"At Dronfield in the County of Derby upon the 26th Day of April in the Year of our Lord 1793 before the revd Laur. Bourse Surrogate
appeared personally the revd Francis Parker Clerk of the Parish of Sheffield in the County and Diocese of York and being sworn on the holy Evangelists made oath as follows (to wit) That he is of the age of twenty three Years and upwards, and a single Man and intends to marry Catherine the Daughter of Thos Hare Gent. of the parish of Dronfield in the County of Derby not knowing, or believing any lawful let or impediment by reason of any precontract consanguinity, affinity, or any other lawful cause whatsoever, to hinder the said intended marriage : WHEREFORE he prayed a Licence to be granted to him, to solemnise the said marriage in the parish Church of Dronfield aforesaid, in which said Parish of Dronfield He the said Francis Parker also made oath that she the said Catherine Hare hath had her usual abode for the space of four weeks last past.

The said Francis Parker Clerk was duly sworn and the licence was agreed to be granted by me Laur: Bourse Surrogate
Thomas Hare Gent the Father of the above mentioned Catherine Hare gave his consent in Writing under his own hand & in the presence of W. Best Gentleman that his daughter Catherine Hare is under the age of twenty one years should be married to the said Francis Parker Clerk
