"18th inst., at his residence, Brundish Hall, to the great grief of his numerous family and friends, John Nance Gooch, Esq., in the 80th year of his age. Few men have passed this life more sincerely lamented than the object of this obituary: a kind and most affectionate parent, a sincere and excellent friend, and highly respected by all who had the pleasure of his acquaintance."
