a) "Item I give and bequeath to my son Thomas Wallis and to his Heirs and Assignees for all that my freehold messuages and tenement situate lying and being in Burnstone in the Parish of Knaresdale and County of Northumberland aforesaid together with all the Houses Outhouses Edifices Buildings Rights Privileges and Appurtainces whatsoever to the said Messuage and Tenement belonging or in any wise appertaining"
b) "All the rest and residue of my goods chattels and personal estate I give and bequeath to my son Thomas Wallis and my son in law Thomas Baxter to be divided equally between them share and share alike and I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my 1s son Thomas Wallis and my son in law Thomas Baxter joint executors of this my last will and testement"
