Appeared personally Thomas Seddon and made Oath that he is of the Parish of Saint Botolph Aldersgate London a Bachelor aged twenty one years and upwards and intendeth to marry with Mary Pollard of the Parish of St Bartholomew the Great London Spinster a minor aged nineteen years and upwards but under the age of twenty one years by and with the consent of John Pollard the natural and lawful father of the said minor and that he knoweth of no lawful impediment, by reason of any pre-contract, Consanguinity, Affinity, or any other lawful Means whatever, to hinder the said intended Marriage and prayed a Licence to solemnize the same in the Parish Church of Saint Botolph Aldersgate aforesaid and further made Oath that the usual Place of Abode of him Thomas Seddon had been in the said Parish of Saint Botolph Aldersgate for the Space of four Weeks last past. Then appeared personally the said John Pollard of the Parish of Saint Bartholomew the Great London Esquire and made Oath that he is the natural and lawful Father of the said Minor and that he is consenting to the said Marriage with the above mentioned Minor.

"Saturday, Mr. Seddon, jun. Cabinet-maker, in Aldersgate-street, to the second daughter of Mr. Pollard, wholesale Tobacconist, of the same place."
