"Yesterday the remains of Mr. Thomas E. Hearn were removed from his late residence, Linden, Leinster road, for interment in Glasnevin Cemetery. The funeral was very largely attended by the friends of the deceased gentleman, whose death was sincerely lamented.
The chief mourners were - Mr. M L Hearn, solicitor, and Mr. Wm E Hearn, sons; Messrs Daniel J Murphy and Walter Murphy, step-sons;  and Messrs Michl K Roche and Oscar Elphick, sons-in-law."
