Elizabeth Romer née Cooper had reached 21 years in January 1807
Mary Cooper had reached 21 in Ferbruary 1807

When Elizabeth had reached 21 John Romer asked the Executors and Trustees for a full acoount of their share of the estate of Robert Harris Cooper This was received i writing which showe the total to be only GBP 186.. He accepte this as money was needed. The Executors and Trustees also promised to surrender to Elizabeth Romer, née Cooper, her share of the copyhold property but this had not happened.

The Trustees and Executors had, since the death of Robert Harris Cooper, continued to receive all the rents and profits and had advanced small amounts of money to Esther Dench. The had refused to come to a settlement and had claimed that the estate was actually of little more value than that required to cover Robert Harris Cooper's debts. Part of the estate had been shares in a lead mine.

Details :-
The Executors and Trustees stated that at the time of his death Robert Harris Cooper held a quarter share in the 4 tenements in Cooper's Court, which was sold for GBP 422. 11s. 6d. This was his only freehold property. They claied that the whole estate only amounted to GBP 1,406. 5s. 9d.

Testatrix bequeathed one moiety of the Residue of her Personal Estate to her Daughter Hannah, for her separate use, during the joint lives of her and her Husband; and, if she survived, to her absolutely; if not, to her children who should obtain 21; and the other moiety for the benefit of her Daughter Mary and her Children; with a Bequest over, if she died without children, to Hannah and her children, in like manner as the first moiety. By a codicil she bequeathed the whole Residue, if both her daughters died without leaving a child show should attain 21, to the Appellant. Both the Daughters dies without Issue, but Hannah survived her Husband; held neverless, that Appellant was entitled to the Residue"

The Appellants were the sons of the brothers of the Testatrix, Hannah Lambe.
