Apprenticed to Thomas Whipham 3 June 1747 for the fee of GBP 40
Free - 3 July 1854.
First mark entered in partnership with Thomas Whipham 24 October 1757
Address at Ave Maria Lane where he appear alone as platemaker in the Parl. Report list 1773.
He gave evidence to the committee of the Report on frauds by the sale of mixed silver and plated wares at the same rate per ounce.
Second mark alone 22 July 1775 - address 9 Ave Maria Lane.
Third mark - 2 sizes - 3 February 1780.
Fourth mark - 25 August 1780.
