Monumental Inscription .-
"Here lies the body of Mrs Dorothy Tomson (relic of Mr Thomas Tomson) who departed this life the 9th day of August 1768 aged 66 years. She left only one surviving son, viz: Richard. As she lived, so she died, a pattern of goodness, patience and resignation, agreeable to her text 57th Psalm, verse 1st."
