Which day appeared personally David Cooper of the Parish of St Bridget (?) Brides London Iron Monger and Elizabeth Bellis wife of (?) Bellis of the Parish of St John Hackney in the County of Middlesex and being sworn today as the truth made Oath (?) the said David Cooper for himself deposed that he is a Bachelor of the age of Twenty five Years and that he intends to marry with Mary Eden of the Parish of St John Hackney aforesaid Spinster a Minor of the age of Eighteen years and upwards by and with the consent of Elizabeth Bellis above mentioned her natural and lawful Mother she having no testamentary Guardian -

not knowing or believing any just Impediment by reason of any Pre-Contract, Consanguinity, Affinity or any other lawful Means whatsoever to hinder the said intended marriage of the truth of which he made Oath and prayed Licence for them to be married in the Parish Church of All Hallows on the Wall London.
Then the said Elizabeth Bellis made Oath that she is the natural and lawful Mother of the said Minor, and one of the Executors of her late husband William and that the said Minor hath not any testamentary Guardian appointed by her Father in his late Will and that she is consenting to the above intended Marriage.
