Appeared personally Joseph Yates Cooper and made that he is of the Parish of Saint Dionis Back Church London a Bachelor of the age of Twenty one years upwards and intendeth to marry with Susannah Pollard of the Parish of Saint Andrew Holborn in the County of Middlesex a Spinster of the age of Twenty one years and upwards and that he knoweth of no lawful Impediment, by Reason of any Pre-Contract, Consanguinity, Affinity, or any other lawful Means whatsoever, to hinder the said intended Marriage, and prayed a Licence to solemnize the same in the Parish Church of Saint Andrew Holborn aforesaid and further made Oath that the usual Place of Abode of her the said Susannah Pollard hath been in the said Parish of Saint Andrew Holborn for the Space of Four Weeks last past.

"Whereas a Commission of Bankrupt is awarded and issued against Joseph Yates Cooper, late of Old Broad-Street, in the City of London, but now of Dalston, in the County of Middlesex, Wine-Merchant, Insurance-Broker, Dealer and Chapman, and he being declared a Bankrupt is hereby required to surrend himself to the Commissioners in the said Commission named, or the major part of them, on the 14th and 25th days of February instant, and on the 21st of March next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon on each of the said days, at Guildhall, London, and make a full Discovery and Disclosure of his Estate and Effects; when and where the Creditors are to come prepared to prove their Debts, and at the Second Sitting to choose Assignees, and at the Last Sitting the said Bankrupt is required to finish his examination, and the Creditors are to assent or to dissent from the allowance of his Certificate. All persons indebted to the said Bankrupt, or that have any of his Effects, are not to pay or deliver the same but to whom the Commissioners shall appoint, but give notice to Messrs. Edward and Lyon, Bloomsbury-Square."
